KARACHI: Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi may retire from one- day international cricket. Sources were quoted as saying Sunday that he was dejected over his treatment by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), following media leakages of his differences with team coach Waqar Younus. Afridi would be a regular player in the Ireland series after the PCB removed him from one-day matches captaincy and replaced him with Misbahul Haq. PCB chairman Ijaz Butt had said that his place in the team was uncertain and he would have to prove his abilities to continue in the team. The PCB had earlier sent a show cause notice demanding Afridi’s reply for his comments on the team selection.
