Step 5: Apply for AdSense
Go to https://www.google.com/adsense, click “Sign up now”
Warning:
•Do not apply for an AdSenseaccount until you have worked for 10 hours on your blog and created:
1.10 blog posts
2.100 blog comments
•However, you will still get paid for your 10 hours over time from AdSenseclicks once the ads are in place.
Put your blog’s URL in the “Website URL” field
Set your language, check off the terms of services boxes
Website URL example:
http://dansinsuranceguide.blogspot.com
This is the location of your blog on the Web.
The URL address includes your blog’s name and
the addition of “blogspot.com” at the end.
Fill in your contact information
Double check that your name, address and email are valid, real and correct to ensure that your account is approved.
•It’s ok to choose “Account Type” as “Individual”. If you start a business later, you are allowed to have a separate AdSense account for the business.
•With and “Individual” account you are considered a freelance contract worker and you will receive the appropriate tax forms from Google at the end of the year.
Check policy boxes and click “Submit Information”
Go to your email and click the AdSenseaccount activation link
Now a Google employee will review your blog and send you an email approval or rejection within 2-3 days.
•If you followed the steps outlined exactly in this course your blog should get approved. If not, the email from Google will explain why and you can make any adjustments that they recommend.
After approval you submit your tax information
Go to “My Account” and then “Tax Information” and follow the steps
After you earn $10 you will need to do two things in your AdSenseaccount:

After earning $10 you will get your PIN in a postcard sent by mail.
